The way this non-autistic actress is physically mimicking the actions of actually autistic people is really disgusting… Disabled mimicry harms people. https://twitter.com/Sia/status/1329411673350942723 …

It does cause harm. When nondisabled actors play disabled roles it causes disabled people harm.

Yes, for example, people on this very thread here have stated that because of the representation of autistic people which is usually white, cis, and male, a lot of women and girls have struggled to get diagnosed as autistic. This has caused real barriers and harm.

Sure, I'm a woman on the spectrum and I definitely have experienced this myself. I don't see how this is connected to the idea that an actress portraying an autistic woman in a film is harming people by replicating some autistic behaviors. Could you give a more relevant example?

Nondisabled don't know or understand how to tell the stories of disabled people. For example, Sia consulted the hate group Autism Speaks for this film. Do you think a group that advocates for the harm of autistic people is going to help provide authentic rep of autistic people?

Maybe not but again this is a totally different claim than your original. I feel like I pushed back against a claim and then you responded by making totally different arguments about other things.

If you really want to know why it's so harmful, read my paper on disability representation… It shows all the harm current representation of disability causes.http://filmdis.com

I'll take literally just one concrete example that actually is an example of your original claim and not a totally different thing, feel free to give one whenever you feel rested.

I read it so you don't have to. The closest thing to an answer is that it harms disabled people by depriving disabled actors of playing disabled roles...
