Really men and women both tend to massively overestimate their intelligence (average person sees themselves as far above average), probably both should lower.

My thought process exactly. I’d rather a person who is genuinely clueless about politics just not head to the polls.

i'd prefer people to underestimate how smart they are and be a lot more cautious, as long as it doesn't lead them to overestimate how smart everyone else is and simply accept what they're told

That overestimation drives exploration, experimentation. We can weather the bravado.

I'm confused by the wording of the answers. If I'm a male who prefers women with confidence, do I choose the 2nd option?
-
sorry; i meant would you rather the gender increase or decrease their confidence in general

I'm not sure how intelligence relates to confidence, but I'd prefer we all have at least enough of both to be comfortable with the fact that we could be wrong and not make a huge fuss about it.

Just out of curiosity, I notice you post a lot of questionnaires, are these just things you're generally curious about? Or are you planning on using them for a research paper or something similar?

What I've learned, men think they're pretty ok and women should be more like men. Women... Take these surveys a lot less!

I am consistently surprised how skewed your audience is, gender-wise. Across all of your polls, what’s the average divide?
