Voted A but I think the descriptions for B and C are kinda sketchy because they talk about "correlated" whereas the initial question was about causal relationships for Ashenazim.

yeah i reworded it to be casual but then ran into an issue - with causal phasing it was hard to clarify that it was the *genes* inside the race, not the race itself, so i gave up and went back to correlated

Fair, it's also tricky because e.g. colorism theories say that it's the due to genes, mediated by racism (social factors). Hard to formally state what is intended.
