Fair enough. I can promise you that I'm not a teenager. And I'd prefer not to give my pronouns at all, but if I don't, people inevitably use the wrong one for me (and increasingly, they pick *different* wrong pronouns).

I do think gender is a social construct, and a performance. But that seems consistent with me preferring to use they/them for absolutely everyone who hasn't indicated some other preference (including myself). Am I understanding your question correctly?

Not to quibble, but one can believe both that race is a social construct and that one is oppressed on the basis of that social construct, and thus take pride in one's ancestral narrative (effectively, one's race) in that context.
