The comments in response to this are still really angry and unaccepting. I think this is bad - if someone or something does something you like, give them positive reinforcement, don't nitpick about how their motivations weren't pure enough

Wokes are doing it and it works, so... They have no spine, they can't see the difference between being merciful and being weak, and bullying them worked to have the book reinstated. Sorry but your narrative, as admirable as it is, doesn't seem to hodl true.

I view all corporations as spineless and soulless and expecting them to actually have principles is a fantasyland thing for me. I'm fine with corporations operating without would, treat them like you would an animal
