Tolerance is not impressive if you're "tolerating" something you already support and think is good.
Then it's just slapping extra virtue points on you for the incredible feat of being nice to something you like.

It’s not even tolerance at that point. Tolerance implies you’re accepting something you dislike (I think so anyway)
