higher rates of divorce is very sad but it's probably less sad than those marriages continuing

I don't know if people are getting better at picking partners, but I do think they're throwing the towel in more easily and this is probably a good thing; as in, if you signed up early in your life to a terrible contract it's good to finally be able to escape it.
