i often like being vulnerable online, but it starts to get less fun when im upfront about an unflattering thing about myself and then ppl take it and flood my mentions with mockery

Unless it's a part of your job. But in such case, try to compartmentalize.

Some may disagree with me, but don't be afraid to block them, too. Many of us already have enough negativity in our lives and don't need any more.

Let me ask, which is less flattering? Your vulnerability and willingness to discuss yourself honestly?
Or, is it less flattering on them, that their judgment concludes somehow mockery is fine?
I think the later is more embarrassing.

Its the wrong venue to do that Aella,, it just warps you. it wont make you stronger... there is not right way here,, your personnal issues are not everybody elses concern,they have their own,, dont use that to make yourself the victim.
