I'm honestly kinda shocked at how little people seem to be interested in really understanding Trump voters.
Maybe cause you can't hate that which you fully understand?

What is there to understand? These are not complicated people that make measured decisions about the world around them. These are people that are fueled by fear and/or hatred. What I don’t understand is why so many people seem to think the world is failing these people somehow.

What do you credit as the reason you are so open minded? Is it because you see the threads of cultish thinking in a lot of the rhetoric on both sides? I often lament the groupthink that rises on both sides. The decisions made to avoid fear and also to promote it.
