While I agree I sorta don't like norms of dragging people for expressing confusion about conflicts with their worldview. It's a vulnerable thing to do and I try to reaffirm it when it happens. If we insult ppl when they doubt, then they won't doubt.

i agree with you generally, though feel his confusion here is not entirely earnest. i’m reading these tweets as “most americans are ignorant about the issues.” i think his assumption still seems to be people don’t agree because they don’t understand.
