further evidence a majority of people, from a wide range of political thinking, are basically biting their tongues, terrified of a fringe, increasingly-untethered minority of loud mouth authoritarians (i think this is good news?)

I wonder if you are going to get a lot of people saying no when in practice they did block someone from the opposite political end nominally for insults but they in fact have a lower bar for blockable insults from their perceived political opponents.

I unfriended someone because her views were becoming increasingly far-left/extremist, and I was fairly Liberal at that point. I've since moved to largely center, so we'd definitely not see eye to eye now.
