man, if id ever escorted in my years of sex work i definitely would have kept a spreadsheet detailing aspects of each encounter so i could figure out if there were correlations between e.g., my orgasm rate and attractiveness of client shame i havent done that

How many encounters do you think it would take to acquire a relevant sample size? (For example, in tournament poker, it takes thousands of tournaments to even get close to knowing what true ROI is-- I'd imagine the volatility/variables in escort encounters would be immense)

I mean isn't this what p-value indicates, the % chance that your result is 'random' or 'not indicative'? If the correlation is weaker, then it takes many more data points in order to be more confident, which makes me think tournament poker is a ton of very weak correlations

Wouldn't it also be the case for escort work? You'd have no evaluation of your client pre-meeting, correct? Only game "parameters" would be, like poker, general expectations of a spectrum of possibilities of behavior given their request

I'm not sure why evaluation pre-meeting would be relevant? I'd want to measure correlations between different categories, e.g., i'd record the client's age and also how attractive I found them, and then run those numbers to see the correlation strength and how significant it is
