tbf okcupid question design in general is quite bad; there's lots of questions that fail to really test for what they're trying to test for, lots of sloppy fuzziness between categories that could be really easily solved.

Their questions have changed in the last few years, gotten much more political/divisive. It's like they assume everyone dating has principles that are strict dichotomies and they would never date anyone who disagrees with them.

it used to be that just about anyone could write questions, and they got chosen based on an algorithm (I think something to do with splitting potential groups well enough)
