I can think outside of myself and empathize plenty, while still thinking that a thing is a thing. Can you explain to me how you can reconcile your repulsion toward cuckoldry with sharing sexual access?

Why're you being deliberately obtuse and vague? Are you narrowly interpreting the word in its strictly fetish sense? Would you prefer the term 'wittol'? You are permitting someone you're with to commit adultery, correct? That is a conflict. How is it not?

Cuckold is not merely a fetish term. Whether it's permissible (wittol) or not (cuckold), it is a word which has existed for hundreds of years to describe what you're doing. This is just semantics, and I'm not sure why you're so embarrassed or offended by it.

At no point in history, throughout the long life of that word, would a mutually consensual relationship between multiple adults not be considered adultery. I'm not trying to offend. I could, and maybe should've used a different word to avoid the negative connotations.

This is extremely not true. Polygamy, though not monogamy, counts as multiple partners, and this was explicitly accepted and even encouraged in a lot of societies throughout history.
