The Masses Of Twitter do this thing where literally anything you do or say will be interpreted in the most unflattering light possible. I keep thinking "Oh if I just give more information people will understand", but this isn't true - people have already made up their minds.

This doesn't just happen with this topic, and not just with me - it's *so common* to see people angry, at people whose situations and lives and minds they don't know and have zero desire to get to know, to see people who prejudge and reinterpret everything you do as damned.

This is just not my experience at all. I think you're doing Twitter wrong. Or, more charitably, you've optimized Twitter for other variables. If anyone is acting like this in my feed, I block them.

That doesn't seem exceedingly relevant unless you're pointing out that you're optimizing your Twitter for publicity. Which, you know, makes sense for you. But is going to lead to predictable outcomes. Well kept gardens and all that.
