The Masses Of Twitter do this thing where literally anything you do or say will be interpreted in the most unflattering light possible. I keep thinking "Oh if I just give more information people will understand", but this isn't true - people have already made up their minds.

e.g., "Nobody wants a whore"
"But I've dated several people!"
"That means all your relationships failed, you whore"
"But I'm friends with sex workers who are in long happy marriages"
"They married beta pussies"
They decided the story and are reinterpreting everything to fit it.

This doesn't just happen with this topic, and not just with me - it's *so common* to see people angry, at people whose situations and lives and minds they don't know and have zero desire to get to know, to see people who prejudge and reinterpret everything you do as damned.

But people are varied, and have WIDELY, crazily different brains that process things differently, and have deeply different values, and *you would be doing the same thing if you had been born into their situation and their mind*. You are 'you' due to sheer luck.

Twitter is like a bunch of little heads rolling around in the long grass screaming "fuck youuu" at all the other heads. "fuck you you arent rolling in the grass right" "fuck you jerry why the FUCK did you roll downhill" and nobody can see each other but they're all angry

Asks twitter for advice (it was at this point she knew she fucked up).
Gets advice she doesn’t like.
Rails on about how the advice was terrible.
Maybe don’t ask a bunch of random people for advice. Also maybe, be mature enough to make your own decisions.

I asked for advice on where to meet people, I didn't ask for advice on how to be more marriageable.

I think the people operating with the charity principle probably stay silent too

When the person comes along that sweeps you off your feet you will wonder how it was to be single

Random suggestion - give less weight to opinions from guys with statues or paintings as profile pics.

Yes people are constantly looking to confirm their priors, not confront them. Sucks but it's part of life.
