So i just read the user agreement, and while it doesn't explicitly state it, it strongly implies you have to provide your personal information, and that they order various reports to confirm your identity. This is almost certainly the reason it was cancelled.

It's been pretty well established that PayPal, along with a number of other companies with restrictive policies, will work to track & match your IDs and if you do anything "BANNED" under another name they'll kick you off their service. AirBnB does it to adult workers too.
