Not true for my circle. I’d probably try to date Aella if we weren’t something like...fundamentally incompatible

Whatever it is, doctors/scientists/politicians definitely aren't it. Something about working within the boundaries of the system is really unattractive to me

But everyone is "(navigating) within the boundaries of (a) system", no matter who they are. While the dichotomy of work/"leeching" is a false one, nearly everyone is confined to a system, even the most hardcore ideological anprim is confined by nature's systems.

I mean okay sure. Yes this is true. However there's still a meaningful distinction between "self taught self funded researcher" and "phd student grant to run a study" and this is the thing I'm trying to allude to

A self taught self funded researcher? Hold up, I've found your man! But in all sincerity, I do hope you find what you're looking for, but in my experience, it's best to treat such prospects as absurd & hilarious improbable actions and let the randomness of chance happen.pic.twitter.com/6ksaogqRil

I know a lot of self-made people and they're really wonderful, I tend to get along with them much better than people who have bosses.
