Different spiritual stuff evokes differing triggering levels for me; astrology is way worse than tarot for example, because tarot seems flexible/discardable/more easily interpreted, and astrology is more... "this is who you are." The more 'reality claiming', the worse it is

Definitely. I'm wary of the base thing in general; if you believe your insight/read/understanding ability is boosted due to your study of [spiritual thing], then that's scary to interact with even if they aren't directly trying to tell you things about you.

Out of curiosity, how does the zodiac compare to enneagrams or Big Five traits, etc? If someone says that their understanding of cutting-edge psychology boosts their understanding of you*, is that as creepy? (*Supposing, arguendo, that this was a plausible claim)

It can be as creepy yes - it depends how it's handled. *ideally* psychology should be mostly paying attention to trends and correlations and being able to help make better predictions (e.g., for medicines) about you. If astrology did same thing I"d be fine.
