Different spiritual stuff evokes differing triggering levels for me; astrology is way worse than tarot for example, because tarot seems flexible/discardable/more easily interpreted, and astrology is more... "this is who you are." The more 'reality claiming', the worse it is

Definitely. I'm wary of the base thing in general; if you believe your insight/read/understanding ability is boosted due to your study of [spiritual thing], then that's scary to interact with even if they aren't directly trying to tell you things about you.

The more 'reality claiming' it is, the more it opens itself to falsifiability. In that sense it feels to me more bullshitty to hide behind 'interpretation' and other shrouds of vaguery.
