I'm triggered by people who believe in astrology, or talking to spirits or deities or reading energies or whatever. Am I just overly sensitive or closed minded or judgmental? Maybe but... I think there's something else going on here. An analogy:

I get what you mean about astrology bleeding onto others because it's a way of describing the world. But can you explain how "talking to spirits or deities" does the same thing (other than judgemental Christian types who think nonbelievers are going to hell)?

This is a bit tricky, it depends on which beliefs and the relationship they hold to those beliefs. But generally, if they think they are knowing something about reality (e.g., deities are watching us) I distrust their ability to really own their frames of me fully.
