ive probably typed three asstons more words literally twice as fast on my chiclet keyboard vs those sweaty finger-picking masturbatory custom keycap obsessees leavin their online friends chatbox hanging DOT DOT DOT as they slowly, painstakingly shit out each individual word

and are there obsessive forums dedicated to TRUE keyboardery, for SPEEDY CLACKERS? No! r/keyboards is OVERRUN, you have to *search* for actual fast keyboards that dont scream at you and you get like 4 search results. we're a marginalized class, i am UPSET

I go 95wpm and I'm not even that fast by these people's standards personally think the keyboard is not the most important factor there, it's about the same speed on mechanical vs. chiclet vs. scissor-switch (but mechanical is much more pleasant/ergonomic)

If you have a light touch, chiclet wins since you don't need to press down as hard. If you don't, mechanical wins because the tactile feedback makes for fewer spelling errors. Speed itself depends more on the typist. For gaming, ideally you want mechanical to avoid ghosting.
