Who even are people who respond negatively to this question? Do they not like hugs either? Do they never [want to] flirt with people they won’t necessarily ever fuck? Is there nothing between “totally platonic” and “presently having sex”/“married” for these people?

I don't like it. I would like to like it, but I have some thing in my brain that has very strong opinions about touching other people and cuddling in a context like that is extremely uncomfortable for me.

My condolences. But it sounds like you’re describing a particular psychological condition, which I get definitely happens but wouldn’t be common enough to explain the ~50% negative rate on this poll Unless it is, which would be a Really Big Deal in a different way
