Assuming "close your eye" means that it could touch - yes. But I don't freak out about touching my eyeball, and have no issue keeping my eye open as my finger lays on it

Wouldn’t this depend on gender? Men with deep set eyes are considered mostly attractive while for women it usually gives a tired look

The first part is that my eye gets nowhere near my finger. As to the second part... how the hell should I know? I'd guessed less, but I have zero evidence to base that on.
