Sometimes I like viewing people's trauma not as a problem, but rather as a uniquely designed alert system for things the rest of us have been too fortunate to have learned are dangerous.

yeah, sometimes. other times having an alarm blaring constantly in the corner when you're trying to eat breakfast is not very fun

we are all connected and maybe this is good also for helping each other to heal

honestly its how I've learned to deal with a lot of stuff. surviving and adapting not embracing victimhood which has become very popular now.

I view my trauma also as my superpower. I am able to read emotions and hints of aggression because it kept me safer as a child. This has been invaluable in my profession. Of course there are times I wish I could turn it off, but I believe the good out weighs the bad for me.

In my case it's definitely a problem. It's not a warning system, it's just being all twisted up inside and not yet having found the resources to heal. You may be right sometimes, idk.
