Why would you be angry about this? They aren't prohibiting or censoring anything, only encouraging diversity as a means of achieving an award. I think this is awesome. Positive reinforcement.

It's a long explanation; this in itself isn't terrible, but I believe a terrible thing is happening to cause this and this is evidence it's spreading everywhere. Bad things only spread when they seem really good, or else they wouldn't spread.
