I have been poor my whole life, my parents were poor, and I have just finally started making more than 400k a year after tons of high risk hard work. The thought Biden wants to punish me for this is infuriating. I worked so hard for this. I'm already paying nearly 50% in taxes!!

Your parents weren’t poor. I just read one of your posts that said they made too much for you to qualify for financial aid at college. If that’s true - you don’t know poor.

yeah, around 60-80k (through my dad building his own business), but almost all of that was funneled straight into my dad's student loans which he hadn't paid when he was young, and they didn't have enough left over for me to help for college.

But most of my childhood they weren't earning that amount - my dad was working as an assistant pastor and occasionally we didn't know how we were going to eat food. His business only started earning that much in my late teens. It still didn't help us due to the debt.
