I haven't seen the movie yet, but from trailers it seems to be about a girl trying to figure out her place in a world with really varying sexual norms, as she herself is entering puberty. Seems fine to me, poster seems like a generally ok reflection of that story
Children are asked to act out horrible scenes depicting a terrible reality all the time in movies since forever.
The reaction to this assumes the sexualization of those children is being perversely used as a way to drive viewers (in the creepy way). What if it were a movie about children in labor camps and the photo was depicting that horrible reality (children being beaten or something)?
