Tantra classes, relating games, or anything that's exploring other modes of being in an instruction/exploration setting make me wanna throw up in my mouth. I suspect it's due to the structure? Like 'trying' to make it happen transforms it from beautiful into a creeping horror. 2

The biggest exception to this is circling. Circling has a container and has people coming with intent to do a weird thing, but it seems okay - maybe cause I've done almost exclusively surrendered leadership which is basically full anarchy, and that feels sufficiently organic?

Completely agree. Part of the appeal is an almost primal sense of connection. Putting that into a class setting sanitizes it beyond recognition, and trying to absorb that dry form in a group you didn’t choose amplifies the cringe factor.
