This seems really unlikely to me. Western culture seems to have been super immunized to genocide, ty holocaust
1: Bosnia was part of a largely developed European power and there was a genocide there just 30 years ago
2: the whole idea of people being immunized to genocide is really historically blind. People called WW1 "the war to end all wars"

Maybe that's why some of the parties we're afraid of simply aren't in power now,but if they came to be,that'd imply it is no longer so far fetched.

Things that seemed unlikely to me 4 years ago:
-increased kkk and confederate marches
-work on a border wall with mexico
-family separation and children in cages
-unlabeled federal police arresting people on the street
-usps removing mail infrastructure
-worldwide pandemic

But western culture is now voting genocidal leaders into leadership and we see the current western culture not give a shit about POC. I am NOT convinced genocide is off the table. has reasons.
