Social shaming around covid seems... complicated to me. On one hand yes spreading the disease is really bad, but on the other hand we don't have the capacity to judge other people's mental health or how much them "partying" might be saving them from great suffering or suicide.

The consequences are obvious. Just look at the death count. Look at the infected count. And as far as irresponsible choices, they're reckless. Being in any kind of gathering right now is not worth it, regardless of the mental comfort it may bring.

They may not be every, but they’re extremely selfish. I refuse to coddle people not adhering to science. We all are suffering. And yes some may not be handling as well as others. But lives are at stake, I’m sorry that feelings someone’s feeling for hurt

Masks "work". Social distancing "works". Lockdowns "work". Concentration camps "work". Curing headache by decapotation "works". If your #1 priority is eliminating SARS-CoVid-2, def nuke the planet from orbit. Nuclear bombs "work". The science is clear! Why bother w half-measures?
