When 'infected' people are mean to me i'm just like... i don't get it. I would *never* be that mean to them. I would never insult them for stating their opinions, I wouldn't kick them out of groups they kick me out of. There's some terrible asymmetry going on here.

those who disagree with me are "infected" i would never call them names, that's what "they" do. i cannot be held accountable for my actions because I am not "infected". people who I intentionally poke at should be forced to keep me around, if not they are "infected". i am good.

Think of it as warfare and a form of immune system response. Except, it's like cancer and the warfare is on healthy people.

Are you never mean to people you think are doing something gravely wrong? Even if you aren't, is it that hard to imagine why other people are mean to people they think are doing wrong?
