feeling responsible for another's suffering unfortunately does not translate to feeling empowered to do something about it speaking from experience ._. but knowing you're causing your own suffering I *think* is more actionable

ahh god both. Hard both. Some people need to shut up and put on masks. Others need to stop apologizing. When people don't put on masks, people die. When people apologize, ahhh, they get kinda cringy and less cool? Wait actually I changed my mind.

That's a surprise. I thought 20 percent of people reacting to being asked to slow down the spread of a plague like toddlers told they can't have another Krispy Kreme would have settled this.
