I'm drawn to saying controversial things because I think they shouldn't be controversial. I'm mad that people get furious over true things because of external implications that they see as bad. I want to keep saying true things for the sheer point of being able to say them.

Then that's a different and also a good discussion to have! Saying "I don't think that's accurate" = awesome. Saying "You can't say that, you're a [insult]" = bad
