I've been struggling to find a good term to sum up the Bad Thing it's not exactly BLM or SJW, as those are broad and conflated with some actually good and sympathetic ideas at the root. Same with wokism. I've started using the term 'The Infection' and it feels perfect.

Oh it's definitely bad, but it's in a different *category* of bad. While it's really hard to talk to those people, I still feel like it's feasible, yknow? Like with enough patience it feels like there's some connection there, even if it's a little bit. Not true for the infected.
