Walking on a sidewalk when I was much younger, I was catcalled by a couple of young white women in a bus. I didn't feel the need to demonize them. Any other desires I may or may not have felt were cancelled by my wife at my side. She still laughs about it.
Sure, but you were also saying "women" like we're all one homogeneous unit. *some* women feel threatened. Others don't. I just wanted to clarify you're not speaking for all of us.

You have a problem with someone using anecdotal evidence to support their sweeping statement? You, miss "I get catcalled by black men, so that means most catcallers are black"? Imagine that. I too feel unsafe when catcalled, or even having a strange man try to talk to me.

This is basically "not all men" but using women. I did not say ALL women so you can safely assume I did not mean all women. Women is the plural of woman and there are more than one. If I'd meant every single woman ever, I'd have said that.

So you generalized an entire subset and then turnaround and asked someone not to generalize. GTFO with this mess.

she just said she didn't feel threatened when being catcalled, she didn't generalize anyone
