This is one of the most dramatic differences measured across politics I've seen. (I haven't looked at the source survey so take it with a grain of salt)

Definitely a good idea to take with a grain of salt, but also seems true from my anecdotal experience. Could be confirmation bias as a white moderate.

Yes, the operative word may be “secretly”. The more religious members of my family often wish bad things upon their opponents, but don’t try to make any sort of secret about it....
