I really dislike r/streamentry some kind of lack of aliveness like it might as well be r/productivity or some shit

that's an interesting note my impression is people posting high level summarizes and not getting into detail and embodiment at a daily or human level could contribute to that

feels extraordinarily unfeminine (thanks
@Aella_Girl for the cue to look at that when I get a "something's missing" feeling) it doesn't feel "rich" or "textured" it feels like box-checking in its tone2 replies 0 retweets 6 likes -

I've found a lot of hyper masculine stuff around the... advanced... meditation/spirituality areas? But I haven't found a distinct hyper feminine one that wasn't also really offputting or bad in more obvious ways. I wonder why this is.

I think it's because feminine spirituality is very different. It's more wild, more of a unique personal journey

Yeah? I really like my interpretation of feminine spirituality, but I think the problems I find in spiritual places with a distinctly 'feminine' ring are they tend to have toxic positivity, more obviously delusional, and feature a terrifying disregard of facts

The hyper masculine places, in contrast, tend to be less flexible and fluid, tend to only consider things they can categorize as 'real', are less in touch with feelings, and are less artistic. This is annoying to me but doesn't feel outright threatening like the feminine does.

This is unfortunate because the unblocking of emotion and creative expression are a couple of the most liberating aspects of spiritual practice imo. Clinging to the solidity of spiritual practice is a trap.
