Difficult to imagine exactly what that would look like in practice - does someone in Uganda get a 1% share in a Manhattan condo? I suppose just assigning debts to asset owners ~equal to their net worth might do it, but you'd see rampant inflation in a lot of basic goods I guess.

Sure; this isn't really the point of the question though. I meant it as a general sense that people starving in Africa get more money than someone in Germany with a stable job and an apartment.
