I'm trying to think of a 4th option for a tweet - I want to know which artistic style best matches your internal aesthetic; impressionism, brutalism, surrealism, and.... what? Google doesn't give me the list I need. I turn to http://play.aidungeon.io . I pick mystery > spy, 1/

because I figure it would make most sense for a spy to be looking for information. I immediately ask the Russian diplomats in front of me for a list of artistic techniques. They don't know. They ask me if I like opera. I ask them but please, just complete my list - 2/

surrealism, brutalism, impressionism.... "The list is too long," says Mr. Mol, presumably the head of the diplomats, as all the other men are nodding along. I tell him to do it anyway. "Surrealism, brutalism, impressionism, pointilism", he says, and then immediately disappears 3

to find a book. Pointilism is good, but not quite in the realm of 'internal aesthetic' that I'm looking for. Maybe Mr. Mol doesn't know much about art and got the book to help me. I decide that working with the world, rather than against it, will probably get me what I need. 4/

I decide to look in the book for a full list of styles. The book shows me a list of seven, but only lists four additional, getting the math right from my earlier question. "Impressionism, expressionism, realism, and contemporary," it says. Mr. Mol tells me not to insult artists.5

Not enough. I need more styles. I ask Mr. Mol to introduce me to an artist; he takes me to Sister Yvette. She's not very forthcoming, but I remember - I'm a spy. I convince her I need a list of artistic styles for my secret mission. She blathers on and only mentions 6/

impressionism before taking me to dinner. Okay. This is fine. I make sure we go to an artistic-themed restaurant, where the menu is listed in the style of artistic methods. I read the menu, and... boom. There it is. Abstract. I thank Sister Yvette and go tweet my poll.

I tried to use shorter ones, but I think they were too vague. The responses made no sense sometimes. The problem could’ve been the Cyberpunk setting I chose though.
