I take my yes back. He should have the right to not have custody of the child and the decision should be only able to be reversed by the man if he so decides to in the future.

No matter the situation, I think people that don’t want kids should not be forced to raise them. It’s better to have a kid grow up in a one parent household than having two parents knowing one detests their existence

The kid didn't do anything wrong, so no, of course not, but he shouldn't be legally or financially responsible for it if he doesn't want to be... and she should still be in prison for years after she gives birth.
