Its not really the meat eating thats the problem. That's perfectly natural. It's the factory farming that I think our ancestors will topple our statues for. Factory farming is the "eternal Treblinka" that most of us find abhorrent but do nothing to remedy.

Very unlikely voters are severely underrating the possibility that tech makes delicious meat alternatives. Such that meat is seen as purely exercising undo power over animals.

It will likely require the development and market saturation of lab meat though, so it will not on meat eating, but on raising and killing animals for food.
