This is really profound @JasnaTod. When you extrapolate backwards over all the "he's" that attenuated half of the population's engagement with gendered speach... And then you contrast with infinite opportunities for amplification that fixing this represents for the future.

That was a nice thread to read through, though its difficult for me to empathize with since i've always been such a strong skeptic (i was the annoying 10 year old in catholic church who asked too many questions) and i've never had other's words sway me that much. 1/2

2/2 - I think the main issue i want to point out is the legality issue. If a bunch of people want to talk to themselves in such a manner, by all means, but when they force ME to use their speech through the force of government, then i have a problem.
