There is a different between facing your pain and finding a way to drain its power over your mind, and living in the pain in a way that gives it power. With some experiences rising above the pain is tremendously difficult

If you deal with the pain then eventually if you come across a person going through the same thing you can help them if they ask or need that help

Pain changes us in an irreversible way, it doesnt matter if we choose to deny it or accept it. For me, pain is the only sensation that pins us down in reality and gives our mind complete clarity.
