Reddit's switch to banning all subs that aren't ideologically "correct" is absolutely terrifying to me. Something really big and bad is happening in society and suddenly the idea that an actual revolution of some sort is in our future is way more realistic.

Reddit's one of the biggest sites on the internet and was a place for a huge variety of people from all sorts of ideologies to come together and have their own communities. This purge is a grievous loss of something that was really special. I'm really fucked up about this.

Which subs in particular have you noticed being banned?

Anything that was trans-critical, even if it was reasonable and tame and kind. They killed a debate sub for trans-critical and pro-trans people to come together and discuss it. They also killed subs that were about rape kinks, even when it was clearly consensual.
