Reddit's switch to banning all subs that aren't ideologically "correct" is absolutely terrifying to me. Something really big and bad is happening in society and suddenly the idea that an actual revolution of some sort is in our future is way more realistic.

Reddit's one of the biggest sites on the internet and was a place for a huge variety of people from all sorts of ideologies to come together and have their own communities. This purge is a grievous loss of something that was really special. I'm really fucked up about this.

I feel so active about this. Nothing's made me feel this hyped and angry in years. I want to write somebody or go protest. I would literally go protest in the streets about this. Or cry. I feel dumb if I cry about this but I think it might happen. I read all those subs so much.

What have they banned that is so activating for you? I haven’t really been following this story and haven’t noticed anything I go to regularly be gone.

Big tech monopolies have been captured by the ADL and SPLC who are intent on censoring online speech as they have been doing with offline speech for years.

I would love to know what the actual mechanisms of control are.

Let's not confuse ideological correctedness with downright hateful and racist content..that's not freedom of speech

It worries me that “ideologically correct” means being a decent, non-awful human being... and that we’re mad about that being promoted.
