holy shit and also r/lgbtdropthet. I sub to a lot of weird fringe subreddits from all over the political spectrum and a lot of them are getting banned even though they weren't hurting anybody. This is really upsetting.
Apparently you're not a fan of trying to understand different viewpoints & what animate them. Which is fine, but it's strange to unfollow someone for having such an interest
Do you notice a trend of reddit trying to, quite literally, sanitize the site from anything remotely uncomfortable? I don't go to reddit, so this is just the first impression I get if I'm thinking from a corporate viewpoint.
I get annoyed when people freak out over suggestions of separating T out from the acronym as transphobic when I first saw the idea pushed by trans folk who felt gay and trans needs were too different.
