maybe not; good skincare and aesthetic procedures for good skin and plastic surgery are very very expensive and also reduce the need for makeup. Cheap makeup is often used by poorer people who don't have the ability to care for their appearance otherwise.

Tbh i kinda learned women tend to wear makeup for themselves and not others, kinda like an expression of themselves. But personally I dislike caking effects that tends to happen, but it ain't my face.
