Tbh, politics has been a series of false advertising and slander for longer than my parents have been alive, so it's quite likely going to be an issue of forcing politicians to break that habit one way or another.

There is an even worse bill that forces everyone to have a backdoor on encrypted files for the US government.

It is really, really bad.
