If you'd been born in the past you'd be worshipping ba'al, or bringing heads back to assyria, or having your slave boy suck your dick, or giving your literal bastard neighbor the sideeye, but here in 2020 your culturally informed views are finally 100% correct, good job!

Technically wrong if it's difficult in the current time period/place to run into the evidence that makes those extreme correct true beliefs apparent

I mean some of them aren't... *really* evidence based in the traditional sense, like you could conceivably figure out that making slave boys suck your penis is bad by using pure empathy.

The “something wrong” here is simply not thinking. If you don't have some extremely unusual beliefs, you’re simply not doing your own thinking, instead adopting the average from everyone else.

Every historical moral and ethical win comes from someone figuring it out and advocating it then. For example, killing Natives because they won't give you gold, is both atempted theft and murder, which are acts known to be usually morally wrong.(not as self defense or at war)

This doesn't make much sense to me, in the past they believed that some events were directly influenced by some actions that are not in direct contact with the event itself, like: human/animal sacrifice = gods are happy and won't send a plague C'mon...
